Police recovers two cell-phones from prisoner | Natwarlal in Sangrur jail
Police today recovered two mobile phones from a prisoner lodged in a local jail, putting the authorities of the high security prison under the scanner.
This is the second case within two months where mobile phones were found being used despite high-power jammers installed in the jail premises.
Sudha Tripathi, a resident of Mumbai, had complained to Sangrur SSP Mandeep Singh Sidhu that she was getting threat calls from Abhishek Tyagi from Sangrur jail to give him money or she along with her family would be liquidated The accused was lodged in Sangrur jail in June in a fraud case.
